The proven design of the Axilus-thrust bearings forms the basis of the developed from the NAVILUS RELH GUA-ship reduction gear of the new double row GUC / GUH (see figure) for powers up to 18 000 hp. They are still one step and offset of the axis, but "tight" built so that more power from smaller construction volume obtained with less weight and also with less noise.
