A critical edition of the Bellum Alexandrinum (or De Bello Alexandrino), edited by a German classical philologist and gymnasium professor Rudolf Schneider (1852–1911). The Bellum Alexandrinum is a Latin work continuing Julius Caesar’s commentaries, De Bello Gallico and De Bello Civili. It describes Caesar’s campaign in Egypt 48/47 BC. Although usually collected and bound with Caesar’s authentic writings, the authorship of the work has been debated since the Roman times. The most probale author of the commentaries is Aulus Hirtius, who added an eighth book to Caesar’s De Bello Gallico. Year of publishing: 1888

Kritičko izdanje dela Bellum Alexandrinum (ili De Bello Alexandrino), koje je priredio nemački klasični filolog i gimnazijski profesor Rudolf Šnajder (1852–1911). Bellum Alexandrinum je delo na latisnkom koje se nadovezuje na komentare Julija Cezara, De Bello Gallico i De Bello Civili. Ono opisuje Cezorovu kampanju u Egiptu 48/47. p.n.e. Mada se obično izdaje kao celina sa Cezarovim autentičnim delima, autorstvo dela je osporeno još od rimskih vremena. Najverovatniji autor je Aul Hircije, koji je dodao osmu knjigu Cezarovom delu De Bello Gallico. Godina izdavanja: 1888.
