THIS COMPANY is formed to develop the district around Langland Bay, by providing a good Hotel and comfortable Villa Residences, and by the purchase and sale, or leasing and re-leasing of Plots of Land in the neighbourhood for building purposes. Langland Bay is one of the most picturesque of the many charming localities in Wales, with air and scenery that cannot be surpassed by any watering place in the United Kingdom; it is the most favoured resort of the inhabitants of South Wales, who thoroughly enjoy and appreciate its unique natural advantages, but who have openly expressed their sense of the inconvenience that results from the want of hotel accommodation on the spot, the nearest house of refreshment being one mile distant. As this is a want that has been long felt by the many thousand visitors to this charming locality, the Directors feekconfident that in providing for that want alone, by the erection of a first class hotel and refreshment-rooms, a very handsome return will be made on the capital expended. lbey have secured a building lease, on favourable terms, of a plot of about Ii acres of ground, in one of the beat positions of the locality, overlooking and command- imf an extensive view of the Bay, embracing Lundy Island, and the Devon and Somerset Coasts. On this site, which is within easy distance of the sands, it is proposed to erect a first (jlass hotel, with an extensive refreshment bar, and containing dining-room, coffee-rooms, &c., facing the sea, private sitting and 30 bed-rooms Laundry and extensive stabling and coach- houses are to be erected in the rear, and tennis courts and every convenience will be provided for the comfort of visitors within the private grounds of the Hotel. Langland Bay is Ii miles from the Mumbles village, which is in direct communication with the town of Swansea by the trains of the Swansea and Mumbles Raitafey, and the cars of the Swansea Improvements and TramWays Co., and it is intended to have a regular service of otanibuses from the hotel to meet each train to and from Bwansea. 4. Plans may be seen on application to the Secretary, or Architect, at the Offices of tbe Company. Building operations will be commenced at the earliest possible moment, and it is hoped that the Hotel may be ready for the use of visitors by about May next year. The Memorandum and Articles of Association can be seen at the Offices of the Company. Applications for Shares must be made on the accom- panying form, and forwarded to the Secretary, at the Office! of the Company, or to the Bankers.
