It comprises over 700 specimens of Old Sevres, Dresden, Chelsea, Worcester, Bristol, Sinioge, Nant- garw, Crown Derby, Spode, Wedgewood, Davenport, Capo di Monte, Leeds, Egyptian, Tudian, Swansea, and many other kinds, and among which may be noticed a beautifully painted Severs China Tea Service, consisting of teapot, two cups and saucers, cream jug, and sugar banin, marked with the Crown and mono- gram of Napoleon III., and purchased at the sale of the Emperor's effects at the Tuileries; a Sevres Coffee Set of six mugs and saucers (date A.D. 1828), marked with the Crown and monogram of Charles X. a very fine Old English Dessert Service, with blue ground, heavily gilded and decorated; a fine Old Spode Dessert Service, four Octagon Dishes, four Hexagon Dishes, and 18 Plates, purchased at the sale of the Marquis of Chando's effects, about 40 years ago. Also a quantity of valuable specimens too numerous to mention.
