MESSRS TRIBE, CLARKE, AND GO., wi l SELL by AUCTION, at the Royal Hotel, Car- diff, on SATURDAY, lbt February, 1879, at Two o'clock in the afternoon, subject to such conditions of sale as shall be then produced, unless soi l in the meantime by private contract or withdrawn, all that VALUABLE LEASEHOLD COLLlEliY, CALLED "NANTHIR," Recently opened on two seams of the best coal, situate in the Garw Valley, in the parish of Liang inor, in the county of Glamorgan, cther with the valuable engines, machinery, plant, and materials. The colliery hAs been opened by drifts and levels, and the wSolc of the coal can be very cheaply produced without the cost of shafts. The seains of coal are hi excellent condition, and none of the coal has been worked out. Superior engines and machinery have been erected, and these and the other plant are suited to a large daily out-put of coal. The mining rights in the lease extend under the Nanthir Farm, which is about 50 acres in extent, but the property is the key to a large range of the same seams under adjoining lands of very considerable area, The lease includes all the coal, iron ore, building stone and fire ciay, under Nanthir Farm. The dead rent is very small, and the royalties are moderate. A siding has been constructed connecting the colliery with the Great Western Railway. The colliery is only nine miles from Bridgend, and is at a short distance from the ports of Cardiff, portbeawl, Neath, and Swansea. There are the usual workshops and offices for colliery purposes. This would be a most desirable investment for small capitalists, as the colliery is on a main line of railway and the 'coal commands a ready market at first-class prices, and can be worked at moderate cost.
