The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the society will be held at the BEAR HOTEL, COWBRIDGE, on TUEDAY, the loth day of JANUARY NEXT, at 12 o'clock at Noon, for the purpose of transacting the general business of the society. The following notices of alteration in the rules of the society have been received by the secretary From Colonel T. PICTON TURBERVILL. RULE 2.-To be altered to read thus-" Noblemen and members of Parliament being members shall be patrons oi the society." RULE 3.—The president for the year, the patrons, vice- presidents, a,nd twenty-four members shall form a committee (five of w hom shall form a quorum.) The president, shali be elected yearly from the list of members. The elected members of the com- mittee shall be chosen from the subscribers resi- dent in each district of the county, and each dis- trict shall be represented by six members on the committee. The two senior members from each district shali retire at the end of the year, and not be eligible for re-election until one year has ex- pired. The secretary, treasurer, and auditors shall hold office during the pleasure of the society, and ail vacancies in the above offices shall be tilled up at the next annual geueral meeting, provided that a vacancy occurring in any of these offices may be filled up at a special general meeting called by the committee for that purpose. RULE S.-The secretary shall attend all meetings of the society and the committee and such ot a:s the committee may direct, keep the lainutes there. of, solicit subscriptions, ke< >; tin; accounts, and off the last Tuesday in January in eacayear, a statement of accountslup to ths 31st of December in .the preceding year, which shall have been previously audited and signed by the auditors.
