Heath and Sons, Cardiff, issue a pamphlet containing testimonials from their numerous customers. As makers of and dealers in pianofortes, organs, harmoniums, and other instru meuts, the firm have established the highest reputa- tion, and the particular value of the testimony which they bring into public notice is that it emanates from local sources, and may therefore be tested by personal inquiry in any direction. To judge from the number and variety of the letters received, it would almost appear as though the Messrs Heath had sup- plied all Cardiff and South Wales with instruments of music; but although this is by no means the case, it is unquestionable that they have a very wide and constantly enlarging circle of customers, and that these are thoroughly well pleased with the instruments they have had delivered to them. Having considerable variety of stock, and holding agencies from the best makers — oeing also manufacturers themselves — the firm are able to give their customers a good choice both in style and price and, an instrument having been cliosen, the experience of the purchaser appears to be in every instance most satisfactory. The pamphlet directs particular attention to the tuning branch of Messrs Heath's business, they havin; a latge connection, tuning about 8,000 pianos yearly and in regard to the repair. ing department, they offer to send a representative, free of charge, for the purpose of giving an estimate of the cost of repairs. Those contemplating purchase of an instrument will do well to consider the Verdict of 300," 0btainable on application at Messrs Heath and Sens, 51, Queen-street, Cardiff. b 1066 I G. DEBENTURE BONDS. Messrs WILKINS and CO., BRECON OLD BANK, LLANELLY. are authorised by the Llanelly Harbour and Burry Navigation Commissioners, under the Of Llanelly Harbour Act, 1878," and the Llanelly Local Board Act, 1888." to received application for Debenture Bonds bearing 3 per cent. interest, which will be issued free from Stamp Duty or other charge and for such sums as may suit investors. The Commissioners are empowered under the Acts to borrow but the sum now offered to the public is The greater portion of the loan is required to pay off existing bonds. The remainder is to be devoted to harbour improve- ments now in progress and nearly completed. Present holders of bonds representing £14.000 have applied for the new issue, thus leaving only £31,000 for newauplicauts. Under the before-mentioned Acts of Parliament the harbour commissioners aru empowered to offer as security the revenues of the harbour, and as collateral security the annual income of the Llanelly Town Free- hold Estate and a charge upon the general district rate of the town to the extent of sixpence in the pound per annum upon the assessable value of the property in toe district. Under the Acts of 1878 and 1888 the Harbour -Com- >, missioners are compelled to establish a sinking fund (of which annual return:! will bd made to the Local Government Board) to extinguish the debt in 50 years from the 1st January, 1890, the first instalment having ■ to be paid at that date. The amount required to meet the interest a.nd pro- vide a sinking fund for replacement of the loan at the, The Surplus Revenue of the Llaneliy Harbour 1 after allowing Rl,200 for Maintenance and Management is £2,000 The Freehold Town Estate produces at present yearly :£1,000 And Sixpence in the £ on property assessable to the General District Rate produces a.t present £1,300 £4,300 That sum is £2,32tJ in excess of the Annual Liability for interest and contributions to the Sinking Fund. The first-class character of the security is proved by the fact that the lien on the revenUe of the Town Estate and the General District Rate is more than sufficient to cover the annnal payment. Harbour Loans depend as a rule on the Harbour Dues solely. The repayment of the Llanelly Harbour Loan being assured in case of need from sources so un- doubted as the Town Freehold Estate and the General District Rate makes it unquestionably a first-class investment. Llanelly is an important and rapidly increasing. place, comprising within its borders many and varied' industries. These include copper and lead works, tin- plate works, iron foundries, chemical works, col- lieries, etc. The Town Estate consists of very valuable .Building Ground, and the rental thereof is increasing a every-7 year. The assessable valuetof the- Town Is also annually t increasing. The Revenue derived from the Llanelly Harbour has increased fifty per cent. during the last five years, and; there is every indication that the increase wilt con- tinue. Interest will be paid half-yearly on 1st July and 1st f January, and the Coupons will be cashed in London and at the Branches of the Brecon Old Bank free-of v Commission. The Bonds can be issued for a term of years or sub- ject to six or twelve months' notice, as desired1 by the Investor. Forms of application can be obtained1 at Messrs Wilkins and Co.'s. Bank at Llanelly, Brecon, Cardiff, Merthyr, Aberdare, Carmarthen, Haverfordwest, and Cardigan, or at the Office of the Clerk to the Commis- sioners, Town-hall, Llanelly. AYOLNG~MARRIED WOMAN OF ..t1. TWENTY YEARS. A respectable young woman, not more than 20 years of age, lives at 63, Bridge-street, New Swindon, Wilts. Her name is Culline, Seven months ago this poor creature became a mother, and a week later took cold, and became perfectly paralysed. Her case was the most deplorable we have ever witnessed, for she could not move hand or foot, and her legs were very much tucked the feet were turned in and much bent out of shape. In this helpless state she lay in the home of her parents carefully watched by the mother. She is her mother's only child, and a more helpless baby now than at any time in her life. All care and attention were bestowed upon her, and the medical men who doubtless tried all that they knew, as the saying oes, declared it utterly hopeless, nothing on this earth could save her but in order that the parents should be satisfied, she could be removed to some London hospital, where other medical men could be consulted. The poor young creature was carefully taken to St. Mary's Hospital, where she got worse, After remaining ior a month nothmg could be done for her she would die within a week, her parents were told, who determined to get her horse. After her removal to Swindon she grew worse, lost her speech and sight, and sometimes her teeth were shut firmly and unopenable. The headache, which had been incessant, was now distressing. The parents had now no hope of their only child, and the baby, too, was very in and not expected to live. The husband, who at the G.W.R. Carriage Works, had heard so much of the wonderful cures effected by the Moonseed Bitters, that he could resist no longer, but 6teaithiiy procured a bottle and gave his wife daily as he could catch the opportunity. The first dose relieved the head she slept, and the parents and neighbours mar veiled at the change. For some days the husband faithfully administered the litUe drops of Moon- seed Bitters. In a week the patient could reason and move her fingers and left hand. The medical men were astonished at the improvement. In a fortnight tbe tucked legs could be put straight, the left arm freely used, and the patient could feed herself and turn over iu bed. The medical men, who had been very carefully watching the case, now learned the secret. The mother hastened to consult the proprietor of Moonseed Bitters, who, upon seeing the case, said h could put the patient upon her legs in a month One of the surgeons who had attended the cae said that the proprietor of Moonseed Bitters would be a baronet If he did cure the patient. However, she could walk downstairs at the month's end, and is now daily seen walking about the streets of New Swindon, with less than two months' treatment, to the astonishment of all its inhabitants. The infant, too, is perfectly cured. The proprietor of Mocnseed Bitters, who has spent thousands of pounds in experimenting, has long ago come to the conclusion that the present system of medicine is an absolute farce, and that thousands that fre being swept away would be cured if they would insist upon taking Moonseed Bitters. IT IS THE ONLY CURE FOR CONSUMPTION. Hundreds of patients apply to me (who are said to be In consumption by some of the best English practi- tioners) who are not consumptive at all. Many of these are offen^e^ at being told that they are suffering from some mucous mischief. I have seen many hundreds who have taken large quantities of a largely advertised article said w cure consumption I have never seen one consumptive benefited by it, but I have known many die while taking it. I have known many who had been told by some medical men that they were con- sumptive, who had a severe cough aud expectoration, benefited, aud some few cured; and, of course, a testimonial was sent to the effect that another con- sumptive had been cured The patient believing it to be true, and the advertiser, not knowing any better, advertised it as such. We never accept a testiiuoniid from any person who has not been given up as in. cura.hle and we never publish any case unless it comes uuder our direct care. A good vegetable medicine is as necessary as food. Moonseed Bitters is the best and surest. MOONSEED JGLTTERS. JJUL THE GREAT NATIONAL DISEASE OF THIS COUNTRY IS FRAUD. No mother should be without it. One bottle contains enough to cure from fcix to 24 children 0: whooping couali. It will absolutely cut off fevers and remove every symptom iu three days. It is true that Divine says, "For the blood is the life but it does not tell you to quack it by taking notass and chloroform. All wise people will avoid such stuff, together with arsenic and other vile and pernicious trash. Moonseed Bitters is the only reliable blood medicine that will stamp out all the above diseases, strengthen the brain, remove all pain, and insure sweet and refreshing sleep, é!ö, \100 testimonials Kead the following extracts of testimonials :—"No Andover-street, New Swindon, Wilts, March 1st —Dear Sir,—I caunot exp ess my gratitude to you, nor can I thank you sufficiently, for you have Prevented a most painful operation. On the 15th day of December last which is less than three months ago, jt was decided to remove a cancer from my left breast by amputation, which has caused much pain and in- convtnience. My health has broken up for a long J»ue, being unable to do anything for myself and family. 1 aul thankful to God that we heard of you. My husband consulted you on the day previous to the terrible 15th of December, only just in time to prevent the operation, when you said you could cure me. I now rejoice to inform you that my breast is perfectly cured, and I am in good health and spirit.—Yours trly, ADA GWYTHER. At the General Hospital, Birmingham, 30 Iniueral drug men saw him, and declared it was mys- terious how he iived one hour after the other he might drop uead at any moment. He determined to CQme out and die a 110me, out he saw tile proprietor of that truly marveliious compound Moonseed Bitters,' the result being that Mr B heli was perfectly cured, and has worked six years since," LATEST TESTIMONY AS TO MOONSEED BITTEHS: Upper Park, Welsh Bicknor, near Ross, Herefordshire, February 17th, 1838. SIR,—I cannot tnank you enough for your fiuvurtisiug the Moonseed Bitters It 11a.s been a great blessing to me, as I have been a great sufferer tor three years, and been given up by seveu doctors, and the last was the head physician of the Samaritan Hospital, London, where I was sent by my doctor after twelve months' treatment, and for the last six months he visited me every week. Then he said he could do no more for in- as it was cancer in the back, and I must go through an operation. I went to Lon- don, where they held a consultation over me, and came to tbeconclusioll that I was too weak, aud it was combined too much in the back, so I was sent horne incurable, where I kept my bed for 10 months, and could not got out or in bed without help, when a friend brought in the Ross Gazette for nie to read, and I saw the Moonseed Buters advertised. I told my husband that I should like to try it. and he said 1 to try a bottle, but i; may be thrown away like the rest. I got a bottle, and the third day I felt better, and in a week 1 could ureas myself and walk from one room to the other, and in a fort night I could come downstairs, and after I wake Up from deep I feel quite refresh ed, but I always used to be so weary. My friends all say that I am a wouder.and it is a great mystery what Moonseed Bitters have done. Yell are at liberty to make use of this.— I remain, yours truly, MARY ANN LOCKE. This truly marvellous remedy has been highly im- proved, and a 4s 6d bottle contains a full month's medicine. No doctor or physician is required.
